Harmonic’s DiviCom® Electra™ 7000 HD H.264 encoder and the Electra 5400 SD H.264 encoder offer operators ultra-high video quality at ultra-low bit-rates. The Electra is a multi-channel, multi-service encoder capable of delivering up to four full and low resolution channels in 1-RU for applications including PiP, enhanced program guides and multi-channel mosaics.

Able to deliver four simultaneous H.264 SD channels in high and low resolution formats, the IP-based Ion AVC encoder offers operators a dense, cost-effective and high quality platform for constant bit-rate (CBR) video delivery. The 1-RU encoder also includes 12 audio channels and can be easily managed and controlled by Harmonic’s NMX Digital Service Manager™.
